During a trip to France, Jane Ballentine fell in love with White Burgundy.  As she had never shown favor to white wines before, William felt inclined to rise to the challenge of her newfound palate.  In 2011, William Cole Vineyards started production to honor Jane.  Our Chardonnay is carefully crafted to reflect the style of traditional white Burgundies, while still displaying the bright fruit from Napa Valley.
